MIKE McNEAL

Mike McNeal in his latest professional role was responsible for the development of conceptual and detailed production designs and renderings for Hello! Destination Mgmt client proposals and projects.  He also contributed creative conceptual drawings, storyboarding and graphic design solutions as needed. As a National Manager in the Creative Department, he directly supported the Creative Sr. Exec Vice President as well as each of the ten regional offices. Prior to his current position at Hello! Mike provided graphic and fabrication design in the event production, also with support to catering. Serving clients such as Google, & Preston Bailey, as well as Givenchy,Hermès, and Avon, Prada, Ralph Lauren

Drawing is my passion. Applying a medium to a surface to create imagery and visual illusion has always been a major force in my life; especially as an experienced designer by profession. Beyond my career in applied arts (i.e. production and event design -technical rendering), my visual expression is grounded in a strong foundation of drawing and painting. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK -

​

I aim to create extreme density through arresting visual pieces that simultaneously stimulate and mesmerize viewers; my ammunition being acrylics and drawing media applied to canvas as preferred media of violent compositions, extreme colors and frenetic overlapping of arresting imagery. Large scale surfaces, showing both intricacy, illustrative collaged paintings and complex technical painterly brushwork are staples of my painted works.
